Hi, this Saturday feature is about the farm. Sometimes I go on the farm with my Mum, Dad and sister. We move the calves onto new grass. They are really friendly, one calf in particular number 9 likes to lick your hands. I helped Dad roll up the electric fence so he can put it up in another paddock. The calves follow me like I am their mother, waiting to be fed. They ran into the new grass when we wound up the fence. On the way back to the shed we saw pukeko walking in the grass and bulls watching at the gate. We stopped to try and take photos of the pukeko but they were too fast. I like going out on the farm as I get to see the calves and see my Dad working. Soon we will have new baby calves that will need to come into the shed to be fed, how exciting.
